stoner.jpgOld Music, a small store in Jacksonville Florida that specialized in selling used music CDs for the past 8 years has discontinued all CD sales effective immediately. New laws in Florida force retailers that sell used CDs to acquire a special permit, pay a $10,000 security bond, and fingerprint all customers. For the owner of Old Music, Steve Dinwiddy, it wasn't worth the trouble.
'I ain't gonna hassle my customers with all that jazz, man.' Dinwiddy explained. 'I did it for 1 day and one of my regluar customers told me Its easier buying smack than it was to get a Lynyrd Skynyrd album, and that gave me an idea.

The next day, Mr Dinwiddy removed all the used CD's from the shelves and replaced them with rubber tubes, sterile syringes, and heroin. "We keep the hard stuff behind the counter though. That stuff tends to dissapear from the shelves, if you know what I mean.'

Suprisingly, according to the owner, Old Music hasn't had any trouble with law enforcement since he made the switch. 'When I sold old CD's, the feds were in here 2 or three times a week with some guy from the RIAA. But now that I'm selling brown tar heroin, zero fuzz. I think its 'cause they know we always check ID.'
