jade_raymond.jpgA recent poll of E3 attendees shows that the majority of the public does not believe that Ubisoft producer, Jade Raymond is an actual person. Many respondents say they think that she may be anything from an anime character, a heroine in a line of popular video games, or the next version of Honda's sophisticated robot, Asimo. 'I know for a fact she's not real, She was in the last PS2 game I bought. I remember it clearly, metal Bikini, huge sword, and Im 100% sure the character's name was Jade Raymond,' said Josh Tillman. His thoughts were echoed by many others. Debra Malven explained, 'I already pre-ordered Jade Raymond 2. Are you saying they have an actress pretending to be her, like Lara Croft?'

Some dismiss the idea that Jade Raymond is only a video game character. 'She's definately CGI, I have her DVD, Final Fantasy:Spirits Within' said Harold Dopold, an online blogger. Although Ms Raymond has a high profile job at UbiSoft as the producer of Assasin's Creed, people on the game's development team were shocked to find out she is actually a real person. Lead Programmer Darrin Wolchek told us, 'Are you serious? I thought she was a concept rendering by one of the artists.  When I saw her walking around, I just figured it was a hologram'.

During the recent E3 expo, Jade Raymond took the stage in person, partly to demo Assassin's Creed to attendees, and partly to dispell the rumors of her non-existance. The onstage appearance was the highlight of the show for everyone in attendance. When asked specifically why it was so compelling, the overwhelming reason given was 'Best animatronics ever.'

Ms. Raymond was unavailable for comment.
