gta4.jpgRockstar have announced that their much anticipated game Grand Theft Auto IV would be delayed due to an unexpected shortage of qualified prostitutes in the area. "We're all about realism in the new GTA. And the decision was made early on to use the best prostitutes we could find for the motion capture sessions. But it proved a lot more difficult than we had thought' said lead developer Grant Shalloud.

Recruiters from Rockstar would find local prostitutes and then offer them the job, but when the recruiters said they wanted to hire the women to do 'mo-cap', many of the sex workers would say 'Im not into that freaky shit.', or 'I'm no tranny.'  According to Rockstar, some of the women thought motion-capture was a new name for a service called 'Around the World with a Golden Shower'. Shalloud explained, "Yeah, it took us 5 or six times to figure out that was something completely different. Actually, I'm still not 100% convinced it's not mo-cap so I'm going back again tonight to make sure".

Interviews with neighborhood streetwalkers confirmed the story. "Some nerdy guy came up to me saying he wanted to stick silver balls all over me and film it on his computer" said Licorice Flavor, a hooker. "I was okay with the balls in the face part, that's an occupational hazard, but painting them silver and filiming it? Even I'm not that freaky. They must've asked every girl on the block. After a couple of weeks, Big Daddy Sweetback told those guys that they better not come back or he was gonna put his foot in their ass. Big Daddy takes care of us girls like that. Except when he beats us."

Rockstar has not announced a revised release date.
