CNet owned videogame website, Gamespot, announced that it has fired all 126 staff members as a result of Eidos announcing plans for a sequel to their latest game Kane and Lynch. Janet Livingston, former HR director for Gamespot said 'After we got some early screenshots from "Kane and Lynch 2: Big Gun Go Boom" we knew that we might as well just get it over with. I knew we were in trouble when the cleaning staff refused to review it. I even had to fire myself."

The only remaining staff member at Gamespot is the advertising director, Dale Brinkley. When asked for a comment Dale responded  "Kane and Lynch 2 is gonna be the bestest game ever. Preorder now by clicking the link on our site! You can trust Gamespot!"
